All the Lonely People: A Llewellyn and Rafferty Mystery by Geraldine Evans

Keith Sutherland is found stabbed to death in the parking lot of his local pub. Since Detective Inspector Rafferty was in the pub at the time of Sutherland being thrown out for being drunk and disorderly, establishing the time of death is not difficult, finding who murdered him is not so easy. As Rafferty and his partner, Llewellyn probe into the victim’s life, they discover that who might not have held a grudge than who has might be an easier task. Sutherland was an insensitive father, womanizer, heavy drinker, and callus business man. Rafferty and Llewellyn must sift through the evidence and find a suspect who not only had a motive but opportunity and the means to kill. All the Lonely People is a quick enjoyable read for those readers who enjoy English set procedural mysteries. Other books by Evan are: Death Dues, and A Thrust to the Vitals.
